Frankfurt am Main – pulsating, artistic, international, and diverse. Whether it is Hibbdebach (this side of the river) or Dribbdebach (the other side of the river), there is always something going on in Germany’s smallest metropolis. That is something that Conrad Binding also recognized when he opened his brewery in the heart of Frankfurt’s old town in 1870. What began as a small brewery house quickly developed into the biggest brewery in Frankfurt, which was moved to Frankfurts South Sachsenhausen just 11 years after it was founded.
